Getting a clock to you in one piece
A clock is glass, a dial and a movement in a box that will be thrown at least twice on its way to you. That is the whole problem this page is about. Clock Decor packs and dispatches every order itself from Lucknow, and below is exactly how long each stage takes, what it costs, and what we do to the carton before it leaves.
Packing, honestly described
Glass-fronted wall clocks are corner-protected, wrapped in bubble and floated inside a double-wall carton with fill on all six sides. Desk and alarm clocks travel in their retail box inside a second outer box — never as a single-box shipment, because a single wall is what causes most cracked lenses. Pendulums, loose hands and battery covers are taped down so they cannot swing against the dial in transit.
Cut-off and handling
Orders confirmed before 3:00 PM IST on a working day go onto the packing bench the same day. Handling takes 2 business days, Monday to Saturday. We use that window to fit a battery-free test of the movement, check the dial for shipping marks and photograph anything with a factory blemish before it goes out.
How long delivery takes
- Metro and large-city PIN codes: 3–5 business days after dispatch.
- Everywhere else in India: 5–9 business days after dispatch.
- Transit overall: 3–9 business days, depending on distance.
- Order to doorstep: 4–11 business days, handling included.
We ship through Blue Dart / DTDC. Hill and island PIN codes routinely add a day or two on the final leg; that part belongs to the courier network, not to us, and we will not quote you a date we cannot control.
Charges
Free shipping on orders of ₹1,999 and above. Below that, one flat ₹79 for the whole order — not per clock, and never topped up afterwards with a fuel or oversize surcharge. The number is on the cart page before you pay.
Cash on Delivery and UPI
Pay by UPI in advance or take Cash on Delivery. COD covers most serviceable PIN codes; a few remote routes and very high-value orders are prepaid-only, and checkout tells you which applies to your address before you confirm.
Tracking
Your tracking number goes out by email and SMS the moment the courier scans the parcel in. A consignment often shows no movement for a day while it changes hub — that is normal. If it stalls for more than 48 hours, or a delivery attempt is logged that never happened, write to checkout@clockdecor.shop with the order number and we will raise it with the carrier ourselves.
If the box arrives dented
Do not refuse it on the doorstep unless the carton is visibly crushed. Instead, record a short video as you open it. Glass damage is settled on that clip within 48 hours of delivery, at our cost, under the Refund and Returns Policy. It is the single thing that turns a slow claim into a same-day replacement.
Where we ship
India only. Clock Decor is an online-only shop working out of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh — there is no showroom counter and no in-person collection.
