Cancelling an order

Nothing is charged for changing your mind before a clock is boxed and handed over. This page says where that line is, how to tell us, and what happens to the money afterwards at Clock Decor.

Free, before dispatch

You may cancel free of charge at any point before dispatch. Our packing window is 2 business days, so that is roughly how long you have from confirmation. Once the carton is sealed, labelled and scanned by the courier, the order has left us and cancellation is no longer possible — the Refund and Returns Policy takes over from that point.

How to tell us

One email to checkout@clockdecor.shop, sent from the address on the order, with the order number in the subject line. We reply to confirm, and that reply is what makes it final; please do not treat a cancellation as done until you have it in writing. We cannot accept a request from a different email address, because there is no way to verify who is asking.

Fees

There are none. We charge no cancellation fee, no processing fee, no restocking fee and no administrative penalty on an order cancelled before dispatch. Any shipping charge collected on the order is refunded with it.

Refund timing

Approved cancellations are refunded in full to the original payment method, processed within 5 to 7 business days in line with Reserve Bank of India timelines for online refunds. Your bank or UPI app posts the credit on its own schedule after that. A Cash on Delivery order cancelled before dispatch involves no money at all — nothing was collected, so there is nothing to send back.

Dropping one item from a larger order

List the items you want removed in the email. We adjust the order and refund those lines. Do note that taking an item out can bring the order below ₹1,999, in which case the flat ₹79 shipping charge applies to what remains; we tell you before anything is processed.

Changing rather than cancelling

A corrected address, a different quantity or a swap to another model can usually be handled inside the same packing window. Email the order number and the change. Address edits depend on the new PIN code being serviceable, and any difference in value is settled before we ship.

Once it has shipped

Two routes. Refuse the parcel at the door — it comes back to us and we refund the goods when it arrives. Or accept it and raise a return within 10 days of delivery under the Refund and Returns Policy. Refusing at the door is usually the quicker of the two, and it also avoids a second glass-risk journey.

When we cancel

Sometimes we have to: a clock found damaged in our own stock check, a price published in error, a PIN code our couriers do not serve, an address that cannot be verified, or an order with fraud markers. We email the reason and refund every rupee paid on the timeline above. We never cancel quietly.

Payments that fail

A failed or timed-out UPI request creates no order, so there is nothing to cancel. If your account was debited but no confirmation arrived, the bank normally reverses it within a few working days — send us the UPI reference and we will confirm whether anything reached us at all.

Repeat cancellations

We keep cancellation records for fraud prevention. Repeated cancellation after dispatch, or repeated refusal of delivered parcels, may lead us to ask for prepayment on future orders. That is rare, and we always explain it before applying it.
