Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of this website and any purchase you make from Clock Decor, a sole proprietorship trading online from shop No.06, 07, Gani Market, Lucknow marketing, Shivaji Marg, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226001, India. Browsing the site or placing an order means you accept them. They sit alongside our Shipping Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, Cancellation Policy, Payment Policy and Privacy Policy, and they are governed by Indian law — the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000), the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023).

1. What we sell

We retail Wall & Desk Clocks online: wall clocks, desk and table clocks and alarm clocks. We do not repair clocks, we do not service movements sent to us, and we do not operate a physical showroom. Orders are placed here and dispatched from Lucknow.

2. Using the site

Use it lawfully, give an accurate delivery address and phone number, and do not scrape, republish or resell our photography and descriptions. If you open an account, what happens under it is your responsibility, including keeping the password private.

3. Prices, currency and tax

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include whatever tax applies to the sale. We trade below the GST registration threshold for individual sellers, so no GST is added at checkout and no GST invoice is raised; a plain sale invoice travels in the parcel. Shipping is quoted before payment — free from ₹1,999, otherwise a flat ₹79. Prices, specifications and stock can change without notice.

4. Orders, and when we may decline one

Your order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email acknowledges it; the contract forms when we dispatch. We may decline or cancel — refunding anything already paid in full — if stock has gone, a price or description was published in error, the address cannot be served, or the order looks fraudulent.

5. Payment

UPI and Cash on Delivery only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, PayPal or any other wallet, and we never request or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or banking passwords. See the Payment Policy for the full position.

6. Delivery, cancellation and returns

Handling of 2 business days, delivery in 4–11 business days, free cancellation before dispatch and a 10 days return window are set out on the relevant policy pages, which form part of these terms.

7. Product descriptions

We publish the dial diameter, depth, movement type and power source for every clock, measured by us. Wood grain, metal finish and dial colour vary a little between pieces and between screens; that variation is normal and is not a defect. Clocks are supplied for ordinary domestic and office timekeeping and decoration.

8. Accuracy and timekeeping

Quartz movements drift by a small amount over months and need an occasional reset; that is how quartz works and is not a fault. Where a clock is advertised as silent or non-ticking, that describes a sweep movement, not the absence of every mechanical sound.

9. Intellectual property

The text, descriptions, photography, layout, logo and the name Clock Decor belong to us or our licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Do not copy or republish them commercially without written permission. Third-party marks that appear anywhere on the site remain the property of their owners.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except as stated in these terms, the site and the products are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website or of any product, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing removes your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay caused by courier-network failure, flood, transport strike or government restriction. Where such an event stops delivery altogether, we refund in full.

12. Changes

These terms may be revised. The version published on the day of your order governs that order.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

Indian law governs these terms, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
